Simply Elegant
The Victoria Street Development is a new retail, commercial, and hospitality development in the heart of Wellington city. Characterised by a bold black and white colour scheme, the two-storey building design provides a striking contrast to the surrounding taller buildings and its colourful neighbours.
The new development has revitalised this high-profile corner of the city, enlivened a forgotten laneway, and supported Wellington City Council in their renewal and expansion of Denton Park at Lombard Lane.
NZCEL worked together with Jasmax architecture, Naylor Love and many others on this project. Our team had to overcome many site restraints. Even so this project was done quickly and economically by using simplicity to our advantage.
