Press Hall is nestled between Willis and Boulcott Street, downtown Wellington. This $28m project involved significant demolition, extensive seismic strengthening, and construction work. The team demolished a rundown property at 80A Willis St, this critical move opened-up the entire complex and provided pedestrian access to the recently completed Transpower NZ’s headquarters.
The result of this project created the now iconic Press Hall food court, created the hospitality complex which includes three ground level food kiosks with upstairs bar, and created over 4,000m² of office space in the floors above.
