Johan has a genuine love of drafting and that inspires his passion for civil and structural engineering. He has 11 years industry experience, with the last eight years being primarily civil and structural drafting. This ranges from on-site supervision to concrete and soil mechanics laboratories, these all stemming from the South African Industrial and mining sector. In the past eight years Johan has strengthened his skills with practical application and training in detailing the reinforcement of concrete layouts, structural steel layouts, feasibility studies; basic earth works layouts and quantities.
Johan has a good understanding of engineering, construction management and programs. He uses this knowledge to ensure that cost effective construction methods are followed, by producing drawings that give insight to the project and construction team.
Along with an interest in environmental concerns, Johan enjoys hiking and the outdoors.
